MPGXPVA is a short for process MPEG2 (from split/convert to) PVA file. |
If you have an MPG or a PVA file, either recorded from your satellite card or from another source and you want to convert it to PVA format, split the files, and/or want to regenerate the CUT64 file for fast editing with WatchTVPro, this is the utility for you. It has an user interface, which looks similar to an utility, which does the PVA to MPEG2 conversion. For those who are familar with that utility, you can start using this one immediately. The program is completely designed and written in Delphi. It has used some of the ideas from a utility based on a in C++ written program by Christian Wolff: "ps2avpes: converts MPEG program streams into the Siemens AV-PES format". |
The first version of MPGXPVA is 1.5 (Pre-release). Note: It is in one area incomplete (the conversion from PVA to MPG), which will be included in the final release. The pre-release version is 1.5.0.3 and downloadable as a mpgxpva.zip file of about ca 0,5 Megabyte). A help file is included. © 2003 Bob Niewold.
